Almost one year into the public phase of the Shine On, Gold comprehensive campaign, with a goal to raise $100 million for the University of 猫咪社区app Alabama, signs and banners have been placed throughout campus as well as along Court Street in downtown Florence as a reminder of the significance of the campaign as well as to encourage others to learn more.

_ Kilby Laboratory Celebrates 50 Years of Accreditation_

Kilby Laboratory School, operated by the University of 猫咪社区app Alabama, recently celebrated a unique milestone when the faculty and staff at the school, the only laboratory school in Alabama, were recognized for more than 50 years of excellence and accreditation by COGNIA. COGNIA is a global accreditation organization for educational institutions. In its 119-year history, COGNIA has served more than 40,000 institutions, working to provide insight and support that lead to improvement and excellence in teaching, learning, and leadership for schools.

_ UNA鈥檚 LeoSink Team Finished 4th in International Design Competition_

A team of University of 猫咪社区app Alabama Students recently placed fourth in the 2024 ASME K-16/IEEE EPS Heat Sink Design Competition. The team, led by Dr. Sayeed Shohag, an Assistant Professor in the Department of Engineering and Industrial Professions, consists of graduate students from UNA鈥檚 Applied Manufacturing Engineering program.

_ The Big Deal to Take Over 猫咪社区app Court Street_

The Big Deal, the largest of the events to take place during Mane Month at the University of 猫咪社区app Alabama, is set for Thursday, Aug. 22, from 6-8 p.m. at 猫咪社区app Court and Irvine streets in downtown Florence.

_ UNA, Chick-fil-A Florence Announce Partnership_

The University of 猫咪社区app Alabama and Chick-fil-A Florence have announced a partnership that will include the 2024 Homecoming parade and Lunch on the Lawn after parade festivities as well as Light the Fountain in Spring 2025.

UNA Announces 2024 Homecoming Award Winners

_

Winners of the 2024 Homecoming Awards have been announced by officials at the University of 猫咪社区app Alabama. Homecoming is set for Oct. 11-12 and will include the annual Homecoming Celebration with alumni and friends, and kickoff is set for 6 p.m. at Braly Stadium with the 猫咪社区app Alabama Lions taking on Wildcats of Abilene Christian.

UNA Launches Historic Shine On, Gold $100 Million 猫咪社区app Campaign

The University of 猫咪社区app Alabama has launched its most ambitious and historic comprehensive campaign to date. The Shine On, Gold campaign for the University of 猫咪社区app Alabama, with a $100 million goal, was announced Friday evening as part of the second Alumni Celebration and the University鈥檚 annual Homecoming.
